Your guide to 29G sterile syringes

29G is the gauge people pick when 30G clogs and 27G hurts — fine enough for a comfortable subcutaneous injection, but with enough lumen to draw a thicker oil-based or peptide solution without forcing the plunger. This site collects what we have learned from running an EU sterile-syringe supplier: when 29G is the right size, when it is not, and the small details (bevel type, syringe wall, draw vs inject) that move it from ergonomic to painful.

We do not sell anything here. The articles below are the notes we send first-time buyers asking which syringe matches a freshly arrived vial. If you decide a 29G is what you want, you can pick up a sterile pack at injectkit.com — but read the viscosity guide first. A wrong gauge is the most common reason people end up bending needles or under-dosing.

For ultra-fine GLP-1 pen needles, see our sister site 31-g.com. For the all-rounder gauge, see 30-g.com.
